Average of the 15 innings = x
So, the total runs of the 15 innings = x × 15
ATQ,
(x × 15 + 80)/16 = x + 3
=> 15x + 80 = 16x + 48
=> x = 80-48 = 32
So, the average of the 16th innings = 32+3 = 35
